About PRS Legislative Research:
Established in 2005, PRS is a non-profit organization based in New Delhi, dedicated to enhancing the transparency, information, and participation in the Indian legislative process.
About LAMP Fellowship 2024-2025:
Unlike an internship, LAMP Fellows engage as full-time professionals, working closely with MPs. This immersive experience offers insight into parliamentary duties, including research support, question formulation, ministry performance assessment, public issue representation, and participation in legislative debates.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); Final-year students eligible
- Age 25 or younger (born on or after June 1st, 1998)
- Indian citizenship
Roles and Responsibilities:
LAMP Fellows collaborate directly with MPs, offering tailored research support throughout the fellowship. Responsibilities include assisting in question formulation, evaluating ministry performance, addressing public concerns, and even drafting private members’ Bills.
Stipend:
Rs. 23,000 per month

Application Procedure:
- Complete the application form in one session.
- Prepare academic scores, work experience details, and two 500-word essays (in English) – one justifying your candidature and the other analyzing an issue with policy implications.
- Properly cite any external sources used in your essays to avoid rejection for plagiarism.
