Nestled in the sylvan splendor of Trivandrum, Kerala, the Academy’s esteemed institution, the “Kerala Law Academy Law College,” offers a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats. With a rich legacy, the Academy continues to lead in legal education and innovation through its research wing, the “Center for Advanced Legal Studies and Research” (CALSAR).
About the Journal – Academy Law Review (Ac.LR):
Academy Law Review, a peer-reviewed research law journal, is published by the Kerala Law Academy in collaboration with its Research Center, CALSAR. Since its inaugural issue in 1977, this esteemed journal has consistently delivered high-quality original research articles, earning international acclaim. Acknowledged by judges and academicians, it holds the distinction of being one of India’s few continuously published research law journals.

Invitation for Submissions – Volume XLVIII No:2 (2024):
Academy Law Review is pleased to extend an invitation for original and unpublished manuscripts for publication in the upcoming 2024 edition, Volume XLVIII No:2. As a platform for legal scholars, practitioners, and academicians, Ac.LR aims to contribute to the continuous evolution of legal thought and scholarship.
How to Submit:
Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts via email to alracademylawreview@gmail.com in Microsoft Word format. The submission should adhere to the provided style and citation guidelines.
Style and Citation:
- Manuscripts should be in Times New Roman (font size: 12) with double spacing for text and 1.5 spacing for footnotes.
- Citations should follow the Bluebook 21st Edition Citation format.
Submission Categories and Length Limitations:
- Long Articles: 15,000 to 25,000 words
- Short Articles: 5,000 to 12,500 words
- Case Critiques: 2,500 to 7,500 words (preferably consider latest and relevant case laws)
- Book Reviews: 1,500 to 5,000 words (preferably consider latest books)
Other Requirements for Submission:
- Adherence to blind and anonymous review guidelines, double-blind review, and confidentiality as per the provided Guidelines for Peer Review.
- Each submission must include an abstract of not more than 500 words and a minimum of 6 keywords.
Co-Authorship:
- Up to 5 authors for academicians or advocates; up to 2 authors for law students.
- All authors must adhere to the blind and anonymous review guidelines.
Submission Deadline:
Ac.LR will accept manuscripts until January 10, 2024.
